Through its unique classroom workshops, the Dove self-esteem project reaches millions of girls around the world. We were given the opportunity to contribute a story that helped kick off a discussion about body image.
Our concept sprang from the insight that every child wants to change at least one thing about themselves. When really, the only thing that needs to change is how we think and speak about the way we look, particularly in front of our children.
'Change One Thing' originally launched in Dove workshops in seven different language versions, before being released online. Its growing popularity has seen it feature in major media publications such as Time and the Huffington Post as well as industry press.
